Christian Homebased Company|GBG|and Being a Grandmother (423)591-1877

Network marketing and working with GBG, my Christian Homebased company, is exciting and has allowed me to be able to to be flexible in my lifestyle. Being a grandmother is even more exciting.

Memories can only be made one time. Developing strong bonds with your children and grandchildren is important.

The above video was made only eight months ago. How fast time flies. Lost moments can never be regained. Now with a new grandson, I plan on capturing more moments into my memory and those of my grandchildren.

My son who, due to an economic turn-a-round in the United States, lost his job and was forced to take a job which required him to drive 120 miles each way to work and back. Day in, day out for two long years --along with working his job was very hard for him -- but he just did it. His home would have been hard to sell at that time because it was a brand new home in a new subdivision and there he was "stuck," but making lemonade out of lemons. Life had dealt him a lemon, but he made lemonade. I was proud of him for sticking with it, and all his hard work eventually paid off. I had been praying for him to be able to find a job closer to me so that I might be able to visit my grandchildren. Because they had lived a 5-hr. drive away, it was hard for me to just hop in the car and take off. God answered my prayer and gave him a really good job that he enjoys (and even pays more) which is less than a 2-hr drive for me.
Last week when I visited him and his wife and my two grandchildren (aged 5 mos. and 2 yrs); I had the privilege of reading my grand daughter to sleep. It was really one of he the sweetest moments in my life, almost indescribable. Seeing her in her little "big girl" bed and seeing her shut as she looked at me and said "swee deams," in an almost inaudible whisper-- there was nothing like it. God answered my prayer, and I am so thankful that he still hears and answers prayer. My son no longer has to drive 120 miles each way. He only drives a few miles and can even come home at lunch. What a difference a "prayer" makes.

Now, I can hop in the car, stay a few hours, go out to dinner or whatever -- and my life has more meaning. Now, I could not do this if God did not answer prayer or if I were having to work a regular job. It might conflict with other activities planned or my job. One of the best things about working from home is flexibility and being able to do things spontaneously.

Network marketing is not my only stream of income. I do have others; I have really not  "worked" at network marketing that much for the last year. I have mainly been working on myself as an individual and also learning social media marketing. Once a person gets involved in network marketing, he may be tempted to jump around from company to company, when things don't go as smoothly or as fast as anticipated in growing their team. A person may jump around from company to company and find that they have wasted much time, energy and money. I have had teams as large as 8000 in the past, but -- if you know what network marketing is, you will realize that much of your success hinges on those you sponsor and if they duplicate your efforts. You must sponsor quality people who are success oriented, and then show them the way or where to receive more training.

If you are in network marketing and looking for another stream of income, you might want to consider GBG. Personally, I believe in having multiple streams of income. We have been around now for over 15 years -- but only now have all the pieces of the puzzle been put together. We are in the process of going global, with the introduction of our new chewable multivitamin.

If you are serious about working from home and earning a residual income, give me a call at (423) 591-1977or visit my website: GBG Link. I promise to answer all your questions to the best of my ability. As a way of acquainting yourself with the company, I recommend starting by first ordering our flagship product (10in1) and then go from there (this will cost you less than $50; you will also receive your own free website. You can start immediately earning fast-start bonuses which pay out weekly. You will then see that the platinum level is really the only way to go, if you are interested in really optimizing the payplan.

GBG is a good Christian opportunity for those who are nearing retirement age, as you can start now while you are still working, or as a plan B in case of layoffs or cutbacks, as it will add to your income stream.

I have been in network marketing for many years. I can tell you many of the ins and outs of the industry. I have made money with many and failed in others, many times through no fault of my own.  One thing I can honestly say is that being flexible in lifestyle brings much freedom. Network marketing is as much about lifestyle as it is about obtaining residual income.

GBG|Christian Homebased Business|Gives Time Freedom and Flexibility

One of my favorite things about my Christian homebased business, GBG, is time freedom and flexibility. Some successful people who work in this arena will tell you that there is nothing like it in terms of time freedom and flexibility. Now, there's definitely a fine line in using your time properly and deciding exactly how much time is necessary to contribute to your endeavor in order to make success possible, and there is also a fine line in determining the exact financial level a person may be desiring to achieve. For Moms wishing to stay home with their children, they sometimes find that just by learning to conserve in specific areas along with the extra income derived from their business, they may come out ahead by staying at home. When you take into consideration that there are many tax advantages for having a home based business as well as not having to pay a sitter or pay for gasoline and more expensive clothes, the financial aspect sometimes makes having a homebased business an obvious choice.

The problem with working a regular job when Moms would rather be at home with their children is that many Moms have not sat down and actually weighed the costs. The costs are not only financial but also emotional. Ask most Moms and they will tell you that there's nothing like the feeling of being free from obligations, especially when a child is sick or seems to need extra attention. Many Moms also feel guilty leaving a crying baby. Although the crying is usually temporary, it still leaves a horrid vision in the mind of a Mom as she continues to do her best to give her family the life she wants so much for them to have.

During most of my son's early years, I worked from home with a flexible schedule. We slept late and had fun together. Would it have been possible for me to play airplane with baby food while trying my best to get ready for work? Would it have been possible for me to stay with him when he was not really that sick, but sick enough to need his Mommy? The best thing to do if you are considering staying home with your children is to begin a homebased business while you are still working. By doing this, you should be able to learn the ins and outs of the business and get over any learning curve you may need, especially if it is network marketing. Finding the right company is key in being able to achieve the financial security you may need.  By staying in the marketplace for awhile, you may find that you have more contacts to market to -- on a personal basis locally. Many people involved in network marketing will tell you that it is important to have both an online and offline presence.

Being a Mom is such a privilege and honor. Providing for your children is very important also - both financially and spiritually. Many Moms want their children to have their own values - not that of someone else. They may find that the only way to control that aspect is by working from home--a good alternative.

GBG|Christian Homebased Business|You Got to have a Map or at least a GPS

Putting my Christian homebased business on the backburner is an easy thing to do and  it seems I can always come up with some sort of excuse, if I have to--but most of the time, I get sidetracked by distractions that seem important at the time. In reality, however, my lack of focus is due to lack of clearly defined goals.

Life happens to the best of us. Some people may tell you that when they are handed a lemon, they make lemonade. Some people just look at the lemon, tell you how much they hate it and then try to pretend it is not there. What am I talking about? What I'm talking about is when life happens, we have a decision to make: are we going to face the problem head on or procrastinate and do nothing about the situation. If we choose the latter, our life may soon becomes a blur of unfinished tasks and projects.

There comes a point when we are given a wakeup call and must decide to do something about our situation or pay the penalty of forfeiting what God has planned for us. Lack of focus is a killer. It is often easier to get off track than to get back on track.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We all veer off the path God has planned for us from time to time, but we can all get back on track. One thing I do when I get off track is go on a date with myself. I take myself to a nice restaurant or somewhere I can just think and be alone with my thoughts and plans and also at the same time look for direction from God. I take my tablet and write down those things which are important to me and goals I wish to accomplish. If I've veered too far off course, I know it is even time to get away by myself for a day or two. Now, I know that is not possible for everyone, especially if you have many responsibilities, but re-evaluation is necessary to get yourself back on track. (Keep your tablet by your bed and write down ideas or thoughts as they come). We often get overwhelmed with thoughts and our minds are here, there, and nowhere.

 Habakkuk 2:2-3
   “ Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
      3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
      Though it tarries, wait for it;
      Because it will surely come,
      It will not tarry.

With my Christian homebased business, GBG, we have a list of ten commitments which were designed by our team leader, CJ (Charles Johns) to keep us going in the right direction. Many times, I find that if I am not moving forward, it is often that I have failed to accomplish one of the commitments.

GBG Ten Commitments and Blueprint for Success

Some people treat network marketing as if it were a lottery, joining any new company which comes along--just because it may look good on the surface. But, there are so many features a person must look for in choosing the right network marketing company. I really believe I chose the right one with GBG.

When I was laid off, I really wasted a lot of money trying to find the right vehicle for success, when it was right under my nose all along. I was a customer with GBG first before I ever began to tell others about the money which could be made with the product.

Since life had happened to me lately, my homebased business really took a back seat. But now, again--I'm back on the journey towards success. My excuses for not moving forward are in the past now.

If you are involved in network marketing and feel you are where God wants you to be with the right company, just begin again. Don't give up. Take your legal pad with you and ask God to reveal to you the right steps for success. He really wants you to prosper and be in good health, both of which are possible benefits with our company and maybe yours too.

Each person has the opportunity to choose failure or success. Today can be your time for a turnaround in your business. Don't let others dictate your success. The price for success may not be easy, but it will definitely be easier if you have a roadmap for success. The right vehicle is necessary, but by actually stopping and determining an action plan, you will be more apt to succeed.

Also, there is so much out on the Internet, you will be tempted to be distracted. You may need to decide how much time you are availing yourself to each project. Find out what actions you are doing which are bringing you closer to your goals, and then concentrate on those specific areas.

I really hope I have motivated you to get out of complacency and do something. Begin with a plan, your plan.

Tribute to My Step-father -- Otto Timms, Calhoun, GA

Today, my blog post is not about GBG; it is not about my Christian Homebased business. Today my post is a special post to pay honor to Otto Timms, my stepfather--a very unique person. Calhoun, Georgia lost a legend as his silver cord was finally loosed.

Ecclesiastes 12:6 Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the well.

It's all over now--no more crying, no more tears, no more pain, no more worry--no more holding on for Otto. One by one they came--starting at 5:00 and ending at 9:00 yesterday, as over 1000 friends and relatives, some waiting in line as long as two hours,  paying tribute and final respects to a man who had become a legend to those who knew him best--racing fans. This year marked the 50th anniversary of his beloved Paradise Drag Strip. Otto had passed away on a race day, to the sound of racing cars in the background and surrounded by his loving family. Never a man to give up, he endured and persevered to the end until that final goodbye--hoping for his miracle and for someone to find out what was wrong with him. He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, a very cruel disease which not only effects the individual but also every person who loves them.

There is a scribbled written note my mother found written last year on a Christmas card which says it all - "I'm locked inside a box and can't get out. Will pay when I get it."  Nobody ever found Otto's secret key; but still, always, in Otto fashion, he continued to believe until that final goodbye.

As Otto's body was viewed, my mother stood devotedly beside the casket for the entire duration and never sat down or even left the room to take a break--the same devotion she had to her husband of over 45 years, my step-father (the man who was always there) -- Otto Timms. Otto was a one-of-a-kind man known mostly by me for his work ethic and his art for risk taking and "just believing."

Today, a gathering of friends and relatives participated in the final ritual, a funeral held at the church across the street from the Drag Strip,  before giving a one last ride down the drag strip in the hearse.

Avoiding the Victim Mentality|AVON|Christian Homebased Business

Lately at the church I have been attending, I was made aware of a phenomena called "victim mentality." This disease strikes many people due to the fact that these people crave attention and will play the victim at any cost. Let me tell you--the cost is high not only to them, but to those with whom they associate. These people who play the victim in almost all circumstances will rob you of your most precious commodity here on earth---time. They will also rob you of your emotions and try their best to bring you down to their level. They will tell you that they have discussed their situation with everybody and their brother -- but they still need your opinion. They will tell you they have countless people to pray for them, but they still need you to pray for them too.

It is my opinion that these people crave attention and are self absorbed. God only gives us so much time on earth and desires that we use it wisely. We can take some time with them, but if they are not responsive -- they must begin to pray themselves. Over and over the endless pleas come in as we become a willing vessel for satan's tactics. Satan comes to kill and destroy. He wants to rob us of our time.

Psalms 90:12 (KJV) So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

I have compassion with people, but often these people are in no worse situation than I, myself, am in. I choose to move to the next level. It is my responsibility to find the vehicle to move me to the next level.  God has given us so many promises in his word that if we will just take a few and dwell on them, he will supernaturally move us forward. He allows us to go through the valley to strengthen us, but sooner or later we will come through if we continue to trust in him and his word.

I am just not a good person to come to if a person wants pity. I will tell them what has carried me through, but I will not pity them. We all live in the same world and all have the same choices. Some people are in the situations they are in due to negative choices they have made. Their present situation is only the outcome of those decisions. In order for things to change, they have to change--and many are just not willing to change.

II Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

I refuse to be a victim. God --what do I have or tell me, Lord, what do I need to get me to the place you have prepared for me? What strategy and what action do you want me to take. Lord, I am not afraid for you are with me. Many people are in a worse situation and, I know that in many countries with my limited possessions I would be viewed as being "rich." Lord, I am "rich" in all things. Forgive me for not appreciating what you have put in my hand. Please, Lord, just give me the wisdom to know what to do with what I have or where to go to get what I need. You are my rock, Lord -- and my provider. I trust in you Lord. Thank you for what you have put in my hand.

I also ran across another blog post I thought might be of interest to you:
How to Break Out of a Victim Mentality: 7 Powerful Tips

Because victim mentality has benefits for many people, they avoid change. People tend to move close to what feels good and avoid things that don't feel good; therefore, in the victim mentality situation, it is often hard to convince the person that change is needed. They have become comfortable in their uncomfortable situation. These feelings are often the result of childhood feelings which are often deeply rooted into their psyche. My firm belief is that to eliminate the trap, this is a work of the Holy Spirit. He must convict and convince. This convincing is done by hearing the word of God to help illuminate their own need to step out and step up.

GBG|Christian Homebased Business|This too Shall Pass

My Christian homebased business, GBG, gives me much freedom and flexibility. After working very hard for a corporation here in Chattanooga, Tennessee for over three years, our office was closed in one day with no advance warning. Since that time, I have made an Internet presence for myself and opened myself to many opportunities outside the limited scope I previously had. Previous to being laid off, I had few friends and few relationships because my job left me drained emotionally and physically.

In my lifetime, I have dealt with much depression. I'm not a using a "victim mentality" as a way to receive attention for myself.  I'm just saying, I've gone through much more grief than the average person. But those things are behind me now, yet today I felt that old nagger come back to try and haunt me. He hunted me down like a stalker waiting until I was at a vulnerable point. I had been adding many activities to my schedule and even had to go and get myself an appointment book, to keep up with my schedule. Maybe I was just adjusting to my schedule, or it could have been a sign that being busy was not the answer to living a productive life, and I needed to pace myself more.

I saw a post on Facebook from one of my friends and realized that maybe she was going through something similar to what I was going through. I did not know and I did not ask; I just checked like. I thought to myself, maybe Youtube would have some beautiful picture describing her status, so I went and found something which was quite unexpected; in fact it was a surprise. The video below was entitled, "this too shall pass."

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Christian Homebased Business|FaceBizPro|Facebook Business Page Ap

I finally got my BizPagePro ap set up with my new Facebook business page. It wasn't that hard; it was just actually taking time to breathe and just do it.

As I am doing some other things for the next couple of weeks, and learning the details of my new position as Marketing Associate with Tradebank, it seems that everything I'm involved with has some sort of learning curve. (blogging, social media....etc...)

Here is a link to both my marketing site and my Facebook business page. If you think you would like to learn how to appropriate this ap for your business page, message me or give me a call. There will also be a webinar tonight at 10pm, if you'd like info regarding that.

This is a hot product distributed through network marketing. Presently there are only around 5000 reps involved. I believe this application could be successfully utilized by people who promote their business online. More tools will be added as the company expands.

GBG|Christian Homebased| Vision Conference at Shreve Ministries Cleveland, TN

Friday night, when I arrived in Cleveland, Tennessee for the first annual Vision Conference promoted by Shreve Ministries, I was in for an exciting time in the Lord.

Listening to testimonies of both new and old saints of God rekindled something deep within me to do something more for my Lord. I remember as a child, praying," Lord, I want to be a good Christian." What being a "good" Christian entailed, I did not know. At ten years old, I was limited. But as I grew older, with more opportunity for achieving my goals, I blew it--messing up big time. But this was a time for new birth; a time to begin with a previous vision and start again with renewed belief that God would accomplish through us, his own desires.

Listening to people who had walked with God throughout their lives and listening to their stories, was very inspiring. As one after another would get up and share, Mike Shreve was used by God to accentuate parts of their testimony by either prophetic remarks or some type of object lesson or another similar story. This was like a gathering of the saints, and I was an honored guest, a bystander observing and experiencing all the seeds of their labor.

I learned that Shreve Ministries had started almost 40 years ago and had won thousands to the Lord. Mike told of his conversion experience as a teenager hitching a ride and asking God
if he were real to show him, and the person who picked him up, just telling him to Try God at each objection Mike had. That night, Mike committed his life to God. He started his journey with another person and began with street preaching, leaving only with an extra set of clothing. And now, to see how far the ministry had come--is a miracle. Elizabeth told of her vision and how in the past she had not fulfilled the vision, and time was fading. She could begin fresh. She was very dramatic in her speech and her presence left you wanting to push after God harder.

I had never attended a religious gathering like this. The outpouring of the holy spirit was awesome (both from the young and the old). God is good. This is true. But experiencing God in his fullness is so much more--words cannot explain. One thing I do know was that this conference inspired me to be around other Christians with like minds and convinced me of how necessary it is to be surrounded by people who understand your passion to serve the Lord and fulfill your purpose. We can accomplish some within our own self and God, but by aligning ourselves with other saints, I believe God has so much more.

I was alone, sitting on the front row, Friday night. I spoke to a man and his 13 year old son who sat beside me. Later that night, after all the sharing of different ministers, a prayer time was had praying for health situations. People were being ministered over, and this gentleman was healed of a nerve condition in his back. I do not remember all the details, only that he had already had a previous operation and that the pain had returned; he even had a hard time sleeping. From glory to glory, from revelation to revelation - God was outpouring into the dry bones of his saints.

I am so glad I was able to attend. Shreve Ministries does plan on more conferences to be held in the future. I recommend being with this group, because "iron sharpens iron."

Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Christian Home Based Business | GBG | Guided By God: GBG|Christian Homebased Business|Where Will the Road You're On Lead ?

Where Will the Road You are on Lead? You do have a Choice. The poor will always be with us. You don't have to be one of them.

I appreciate my Christian Homebased business; it provides so many of my core needs in life, while giving me flexibility in lifestyle.  When I first started my blog a couple of months ago, it was designed to  give hope to the hopeless, both spitually and financially--my passion.  My intentions were to spread the good news that there is a solution to many people's personal situation during this time of economic uncertainty. These circumstances are merely that: circumstantial. I gave the solution and had over 3000 hits to my site in a short time, not only from the United States, but also many foreign countries.

To some, I recognize the fact that I was coming across as a religious fanatic; I was also even warned that this is the way I was possibly being perceived. I looked up the definition of "religious fanatic" and this is what I found.  Religious fanaticism is fanaticism related to a person's, or a group's, devotion to a religion. However, religious fanaticism is a subjective evaluation defined by the culture context that is performing the evaluation. ...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_fanatic

Now, as you see from the definition: the term "religious fanatic" is subjective, meaning that in one group I might be considered a fanatic, while in another my actions might just be considered the norm. I just wanted you to know that the reason I am the way I am is because, for many years, I was a person who was not in and was not out; in other words, I was "luke warm" as the word of God would put it. This is what the word of God says concerning people who were/are like I was.

Revelation 3:14-19 (King James Version)

 14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

The word "chasten" has been defined by some as "exercising authority over."  When someone exercises authority over  a person  or thing, they take the position of expert and make decisions which are in the best interests of  the other person. (as in the case of a government official issuing a curfew). Therefore, one would assume that God  would design events and situations in order to get us back in line with his word and his plan for our life. In other words, he's a God of second chances. Also, one might assume that these situations or circumstances which are designed to get us close to him again, might be laced with difficulties and trials which would cause us to release our independence on ourselves to total dependence on God and his will for our own life. The fact is: God is our creator, and he knows why he created us and what he wants for us. His plan is good, the Bible says.

In my life, as in the lives of many other Christians, I got so far away from what the word of God says was right, that my life began falling apart before their own eyes; it did not make sense. Now, that might look like a bad thing, but through God, it was a good thing - to get me back in line with what he says is the truth.

I must make this absolutely clear-- I have no Biblical training or any  personal  authority which would cause you to believe the things which I believe are true. My only authority is the word of God, in which he wants us to study to show ourselves approved, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I also notice that to some, that integrating my use of  my network marketing company, GBG as a financial vehicle for success,  may be a conflict with what other people believe. Some people are so closed minded and become so comfortable in their own discomfort, that they are not open to another way of  making money.  Some people do not know that network marketing, as a vehicle for success, has already passed the test of time. Many individuals have become wealthy with this vehicle. For many people, just a few extra hundred dollars a month has been the difference in whether to stay home or take the family out to a nice restaurant. Just a few extra hundred dollars a month is often the difference between going bankrupt or staying solvent. Even Donald Trump heralds network marketing. He along with Warren Beatty, Robert Kiyosaki and countless other financial experts know the benefits of network marketing.

Network marketing is, however, often associated with pyramid schemes and making money off other people. One might even picture network marketing as a large funnel, which shows dollars going into it and pennies coming out on the other end. I am sorry to say, that this is often the case with many unscrupulous companies which have no feeling for the success of its distributors who diligently work hard to be successful. The CEO of our company, Stuart Finger, designed the payplan so that ordinary people could benefit. He had previously been with two differnt companies where he was making money, but others were not. He developed the plan to benefit everyone, including the person who was in part-time, as well as the full-time networker.

I will not give you half truths. Doing this would cause me to be untrue to myself. I will tell you that network marketing is not for the weak. A person must develop their own sense of power, coming from God, and believe and not give up on their company or product. Now--I will say this with all sincerity: a person must really believe in their company and product before putting their life and energy on the line, or they will wind up wasting both time and money. He/she should ask themselves if their chosen opportunity is really in line with their own passion or purpose in life. If for any reason, the opportunity conflicts with what God has given them as their mission, they should turn away at once and not become involved. If they find that leadership is corrupt or any of the training concepts are contrary to what they had originally been lead to believe, they should not participate. What might be perceived as an acceptable practice for one person, however, might not be considered "acceptable" for another. Each person has the right to decide which way God is leading in their chosen endeavor.

It is important to listen to the voice of God before preceding forward. People should precede cautiously before giving their complete trust. All people who say they are there to help, are not. Many so called "mentors" are there to profit from the ignorance of others,  especially "newbies" who often spend thousands of dollars before understanding that there must be criteria before choosing their homebased business.  It is my opinion that people should intentionally go a little slow at the beginning of a new endeavor, in order to make sure that they are really "sold out" on their company. Many will tell you to go all out, recruiting family and friends, make your "hot" list. Often, a person will find that they lose integrity with friends, and those a person should often be able to influence the most, by being ignorant about their company. There is definitely a learning curve in networking. Some have said, however, I'd rather have ignorance on fire than someone who has no enthusiasm. Yes, enthusiasm about your chosen company is definitely a prerequisite for success, in my opinion. Your enthusiasm should be strong before even preceding in talking to others.

So, why did I say all these things: just to have content on my blog.  Did I say these things in order to try and convince you that I am not a fanatic? This answer is from my heart: the only reason I continue to tell about my company, GBG,  and the product, 10 in 1 chewable vitamins, is to fulfill my passion, which is to give hope to the hopeless, both financially and spiritually.

This job is too big for me to do by myself. I need help. Half of the people who are "followers" on my blog are people already involved with my company--some not even on my team in  GBG. They are looking at me and observing my actions. We all want each other to succeed with GBG. Stuart Finger, the CEO of GBG, has devised a payplan which encourages team participation.

True networking is not "All"about the money; it is not all about becoming rich--even though it is possible. GBG is about helping all the people who really have a desire to be successful, giving them a vehicle for success. I encourage you to examine the opportunity and make an educated decision for yourself. I have been involved in network marketing for many years, often becoming one of the top representatives for some of the companies for which I was involved. It is my opinion that GBG is the best network marketing company in the world. Now is the best time to get involved. With all the recent enhancements to the payplan and the fact that GBG has added the 10 in 1 Chewable Vitamin to the line, we are poised to go international in the not too distant future. Due to the fact that the company has been in place for 15 years, stability is more to be expected than some hot new fly-by-night mlm. Should you need to talk further about the opportunity or visit my site, I am listing my website along with my phone number. http://www.onlyatgbg.com/372390 . My phone # is (678) 848-5254. I usually work from 1:00 pm (EST) until whatever. I will also mail out to you an introductory sample package (Free of charge). http://onlyatgbg.com/Product.aspx?ID=372390  Fill out the contact form, and I will contact you: http://www.onlyatgbg.com/Contactme2.aspx?wid=e1a7db4d-79cd-40b4-82c6-dcb7cd32efd2&ID=372390

My authority: I've been involved in network marketing for over 30 years. I originally started with GBG as a purchaser of the product only (not a distributor). Only after receiving the profound effect of an excellent product, 10 in 1 vitamin, and examining all phases of the company, did I make a firm decision to join with GBG.

I am no longer luke-warm with my God. In fact--I am fanatical about my relationship with him, some would say. Some might even say I'm a nut. Well, ok. That's alright, cause they ain't my boss. And some might say I'm a fanatic about my Christian homebased company, but thats ok, too--because I walk in good health and prosper just as my soul prospers, while many walk around in an unhealthy state of mind, declaring sickness on themselves and their families. I see it all the time.

Have a great day!

3 John 1:2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

GBG|Christian Homebased Business|Provides Free Training to Reps

This is a picture of my Mom and Otto, my step-father on Christmas Day. He had fallen a few days prior. My mother is really someone special, as she has taken care of Otto now for over three years. He has Alzheimer's. But for one moment in time, joy was captured in a simple photo. Although this picture doesn't show any of the Christmas decorations or the tree, she did a beautiful job both with the decorating and also in preparing a beautiful Christmas dinner for the family.

I dedicate much of my success in life to my Mom because she has enforced a peculiar type of love with our family--tough love. Although she is afraid to show it at times, she has a big heart and is an amazing person. I believe I might have given up on her caretaker's role along time ago, had I been in her place. But as she told me the other day, she used to take it a day at a time, and now it's more like hour by hour.

So in our family, there were many highs and lows as Christmas was celebrated. Things are changing and will never be the same.  This was a special day we prepared for-- or did we?  I'm thankful my Christian Homebased business, GBG, provides Free training to its reps. This has allowed me to do other things  while the people on my team (including my sponsor, Charles John; and his sponsor, Chris Curtis), receive training from the weekly company training calls as well as conduct daily motivational calls and nightly webinars offered for our team.

The thoughts of Christmas for many people this year,  were not happy thoughts, rather many thoughts were filled with anxiety. Norman Vincent Peale, in his book, How to Stop Worrying and Start Living, stated that 90 percent of the things we worry about never happen. However, for many people, this year that statement proved to be wrong. Many people who are unemployed were concerned not only about buying Christmas presents for their friends and family, but also in putting food on their table. With gasoline soaring to a national record high of $3.02/gallon here in the United States (according to http://www.gasbuddy.com/, many families were finding that even a trip to Grandma's, which was usually taken for granted, now provided an extra burden. Many families are now looking for alternative ways to help ease the pain of rising costs in living. As most families had learned at Thanksgiving, even food prices had been rising with a 30 percent increase over last year on the price of a turkey.

For many families, a Christian homebased business is the answer.
If you are one of those families who is struggling just to get by and would like help in finding a solution, please fill out your contact information at http://www.shopgbg.com/jppcontact/372390 . Someone will contact you with information and direction on getting started in your own Christian homebased business.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (Report of December 4, 2010) the unemployment rate has crept up to 9.8%.  Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (10.0 per-cent), adult women (8.4 percent), whites (8.9 percent), and Hispanics (13.2 per-cent) edged up in November. The jobless rate for blacks (16.0 percent) showed little change over the month, while the rate for teenagers declined to 24.6 percent. The jobless rate for Asians was 7.6 percent, not seasonally adjusted.

Many people are questioning their own unalienable right, according to the Declaration of Independence, to their own  "pursuit of happiness."

Now that we are through with the most holy of all holy days among Christians, Christmas is yet another year away. This year, many people celebrated sacrificial giving, but nothing in comparison to the sacrifice God gave us that glorious day when Christ was born to save us from our sin.

John 10:1010 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.(KJV)
I was talking to my son at Christmas, and we were talking about GBG, my Christian Homebased business, and about why I felt that it was the right Christian homebased company with the right message to touch a world. God did not intend for us to live in poverty as some people think and are against the message of prosperity as if prosperity were a curse. However, he did know that the poor would always be with us. He also knew that the message of salvation would be received by some and rejected by others. Did God believe in prosperity? I believe he did, because he said:

3 John 1:2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

For this reason, I believe he knew that both elements (health and wealth) were good attributes for his followers. Knowing my company focuses on both, I feel that my Christian Homebased business can provide the solution to the financial situation of many. My message is to give hope to the hopeless, both spiritually and financially.  Jesus Christ said,

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. .

Today, I come with a message of hope to you and all families. I honestly believe I found the answer. If you knew my story in network marketing, you would see how many times when I did fail with other companies, most of the time it was because I found something wrong with them--something which caused me not to want to share the company and product with both my friends and family. With GBG, both during my time as a customer only, and now as a representative, I have not found any negatives. I would tell you if I had, and also would not be promoting it. For further information, visit my site at http://www.shopgbg.com/jpp/372390  You see, I know the two worlds. My rich dad, as I call him, has no health but wealth; my poor dad has good health but no wealth. Given a choice, most would choose health over wealth. With GBG, we have help with both.

Christian Home Based Business Teaches Perseverance

Bothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,  press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.  Phillipians 3:13-14 (NIV)

We all make mistakes. Mistakes are just a part of the learning process.  All we can do is keep our eye on the goal and continue on in the direction we know we are supposed to be going.

Don't let people put you down, but be confident in your own abilities.  This blog post is short and sweet and to the point: Don't Give Up. Never, ever, ever give up.

GBG Christian Homebased Business May be Able to Help with Christian Success Advice

Click Here for My GBG Website

Psalms 15:22 (KJV) Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellers they are established.

Proverbs 20:18 (KJV) Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.

Proverbs 24:6 (KJV) For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Today I listened to a call with GBG leaders, Mike and Simone Webster.   The above scripture is only a reminder that we all need advise when we make war. Make war, you say -- yes make war.  We are in a war on poverty, and with GBG (guided by God)--there is an answer for those who choose to believe and act on their beliefs.

Jesus knew that "the poor will always be with us," not because he had planned it that way.  He did not plan for people to live in poverty, because he said in the word,

III John 1:2 (KJV) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Jesus knew that the poor would always be with us, because sin is in the world.  Jesus and his word is the answer to all of life's problems, but people would rather do things their own way instead of relying on him for guidance through his word.  Our world is in a rebellious state because they do not humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways.

II Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land

I must open my mouth and tell you about God's word and how obedience is the only answer. I am thankful for my GBG Christian homebased business. I have found Christian counsel and advice from people who are out to break the curse of poverty beginning with themselves and with all those who choose to embark on a journey towards self-improvement and proper mindset which comes through believing what God has said about you.

You see, Satan is a liar.  He wants you to believe you will never be successful and that you will never be who God wants you to become.  If God says it, it is so.  Do not believe the evil tricks of the enemy.  His battle for dominance was already lost when Christ died for us.  Satan lost!  So, why do we continue to believe these lies after Christ won--especially those of us who profess to be Christians?  It is partly because we surround ourselves with and allow people into our lives who bring us down to their own level of mediocrity.  I am not speaking of a prosperity mentality consciousness  as most would think (I mean fancy cars and houses, exotic vacations along with all the frivolous things this life may offer) here on earth.  What I want you to understand is that prosperity in Jesus is something more.  This prosperity is a mindset, a belief that God is who he says he is and we are who God says he is and that through him nothing is impossible. The only true prosperity is through Jesus Christ.  Things can be taken away as fast as they come, but believing the truth as shown in the scriptures, is our first step towards real success.

The counselors who we surround ourselves with keep us headed down the right road and are there to remind us when we get off track on our journey.  Ask God to surround you with the right counselors to help you make the right decisions and to reaffirm your own beliefs in the scripture.

With GBG, my Christian homebased business, I am surrounded by many counselors who advise me for my own good as well as that of the team--knowing in their hearts that the way of the cross is the only way.

Thanksgiving - The One Day Americans Deisgnate to Be Thankful

As I look back on previous Thanksgivings, my memories are mainly of good food and lots of it--the American way of life.  Growing up in a family with eight kids, my Mother always seemed to cook just the right amount of food, and I never remember of any leftovers except at Thanksgiving. There were no seconds either, except at Thanksgiving.  How she managed to do that with all the other meals during the year, I will never know.  We ate good, but there were some luxuries I never knew about including getting seconds. Maybe that's the reason as an adult I am overweight--all the seconds I have now.

I never knew until I was 16 and went on a date, that a person would eat a whole steak (this is just one example of the many things about life I never knew). We were not deprived, it was just that there were some things I never knew.  We never cooked out on a grill, we never ordered fast food,  and I never helped my mother cook.  That was one thing she always did.  Because she assumed this responsibility and never said a word, I never knew until many years later that she had felt like a maid for many years--she kept it all inside.

On Thanksgiving, many people will be keeping their emotions intact--just not to make waves or create drama.  This is fine and well, but it never allows you true intimacy with family. This year,  I will try my best to get closer to my family instead of concentrating so much on food.

We also need to make an extra effor to really thank the person who does the cooking, if it is not you.  Why not bring flowers, or do some type of help cleaning up before settling down to television, as most people do.  Don't even ask, just do it.  Sometimes in all the hoopla, we just forget and get wrapped up in our own selves.

This year will be especially difficult for many Americans, especially the 1 in 10 who is unemployed. But we still have many many things to be thankful for including freedom to worship God and the freedom to strive for a better life.

God bless you all. Happy Thanksgiving.  Just thought of a song I sung at school as a child.

Gobble gobble said the turkey
I'm the king of all the fair
Gobble gobble said the turkey
I am wanted everywhere
(Can't think of the end--oh, did I hear a gunshot?)

Make this Thanksgiving a memorable Thanksgiving and don't forget to take pictures.
This blogpost is dedicated to my step-father, Otto Timms, who is in the latter stages of Alzheimer's.  He will be with us tomorrow.  For that I am thankful.

It is also dedicated to my GBG sponsor, CJ, who helped me in this life here on earth, to examine and determine my "why" which is to give hope to the hopeless (both financially and spiritually).  Jesus Christ is the answer. All glory be to my loving savior, Jesus Christ. Without him life would be meaningless.

Save this link to my site in your favorites.  If you are one of the one in ten who still have a JOB (just over broke), be thankful; but don't take it for granted.  Decide today that you will never be empty handed if they decide to pass out pink slips.  A tight rope walker would never walk unless he has a trampoline there at the bottom to catch him.  Let GBG be that trampoline.

Christian Homebased - Work for Stay at Home Moms

When I was younger, many years ago, (lol) - I became a Mom. My childbirth was definitely another story (natural childbirth, epidural and finally a c-section). I gave birth to a 10lb 11oz. baby boy. All the family was excited since he was the first grandchild.  My son was and is the greatest.  He is very artistic, which I don't believe he received from me and very intelligent (now, there is a possibility there).  I loved him the moment I knew he was to be born. The excitement of knowing you are going to have a child is indescribable unless you've experienced it.  Soon, the nursery was all fixed up for his arrival (complete with lime green shag carpet and animal themes on the wallpaper.  When my son was brought out at the hospital, he was wrapped in a pink blanket (they had run out of blue blankets).  My husband did not even get up.  He had already named my son even before he was born.  In fact, his name was written on a blackboard which was used to write notes in the kitchen.

My son was very handsome even as a young baby.  He definitely had my brown eyes, but had the physique of my husband.  It's funny how children develop as they grow up.  One of the things which I felt was unusual about him was how detailed he was.  When he had all his star wars figurines lined up, he would notice if  a little sword was missing. I have very sweet memories of his first few years because I was a stay-at-home mom.  A person who can find work for stay at home moms is very fortunate, especially if the income derived is significant and plays an important role in providing the extras that many families desire.  The work for stay at home moms I found, was in party plan.  I started out as a Fashion Show Director for Sarah Coventry, Inc. and was promoted to District Manager when the manager at that time moved several states away.

Staying at home was important to me.  My husband had a job as a police officer, with varying schedules. Therefore, by being able to stay at home, I was able to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of my family.  By not having to punch a time clock, I was allowed to sleep late if I wanted, take my time in everything I did, and also be able to be there for every milestone my son reached.  It was a sweet time in my life, as I look back on it now.

My career with Sarah Coventry allowed me to also be gone several evenings a week.  Those are the times when my husband could baby sit, thereby saving the costs of a baby sitter.  This time also brought my son closer to his Dad.  I loved Sarah Coventry and soon grew a group of over 25 Fashion Show Directors and 5 Unit Directors.  I loved the competition and striving to win trips offered by the company (trips to Miami, Washington D.C., Pine Isle, Paradise Island, Bahamas, Miss Georgia Pageant...and several other trips).  In fact, the first time my husband and I were away from my son was when he was two years old; we went on a cruise to the Bahamas on the Sunward II.

Many women cannot find work for stay at home moms or cannot find work which pays enough.  I believe many parents should sit down and analyze the cost they are paying to have the mom work.  Often, they will find that they are paying for the wife to work.  After paying the cost of a sitter, wardrobe, gas, auto and auto expenses, tax increase; a family will find that it is to their advantage for a mom to stay at home and raise her child herself instead of rushing over to a babysitter.  Taking a child out when they are half way sick or in cold weather, or any negative situation is a pull on the emotions.  Often, a job often takes so much energy that when a mom arrives back home, she cannot be the type of mother she really wants to be.

I loved my job because it was flexible and allowed me to stay with my son.  Many times,  a person works because they think they have no choice, I want to say--in life, there are always choices.  There is always another way other than striving to work in an environment where you will never be paid your true worth.

I am no longer a stay-at-home mom (my son is grown), but I remember the feeling of satisfaction and security I derived when I worked from home with a job which allowed me to work around my family's schedule.  My advice again is to calculate the cost of your working, including the tax advantages which are allotted for having a home based businesses.

My son's formative years were spent with me.  For that I am thankful. I was able to give him my own values instead of his learning them from a sitter or not even learning values at all.  My daughter-in-law is also a stay-at-home mom and works from her home office, carrying on the family tradition of working from home.  She, along with my son, operate a website for moms http://www.gentlemoms.com/.

Due to the advent of the Internet, many opportunities have presented themselves especially for people who are looking for work for stay at home moms.

Sometimes a person must ask themselves the question whether it is worth it to work for someone else.  What are the long-term benefits of working for someone else?  Most people will find when they are honest with themselves that they are working to put food on the table and to meet present needs.

One of my favorite things about working from home was being able to prepare wholesome meals for my family and being able to take my time.  Hope you enjoy this video.

There is little long-term benefits in working for someone else, because there is no residual income. Residual income is derived when you have the opportunity to gain income for work you did before, and the income keeps coming in no matter what you do.

Sarah Coventry was a direct sales company.  Some of the income I derived was like that in a sense, because I had hostesses who would take a catalog and get orders for me every time a new catalog came out.  But this was not true residual income, because I was having to go through certain actions in order to have the income.  I had to pick up the orders and write up the orders.  True residual income requires no acton in order to receive the income.

One such opportunity to receive residual income is network marketing.  People who are not familiar with network marketing may not understand the concept of network marketing.  The concept is that a product or products is sold through a distribution channel which allows the company to distribute without the cost of advertising.  The company uses the money which would have been originally intended for advertising and passes it on to the distributors.

One such company is the company I now work for, GBG.  The reason I like the product which we offer is because it is a product which almost everyone is using anyway. They only have to change their way of purchasing.  Instead of getting their product from a store, they can now purchase it from the company at a cost of less than what they would pay from the store.  Therefore, there is a win-win situation involved with the company.  They can count the cost of distribution and therefore be able to stay in business.  Many people or businesses find that when they stop advertising, their business stops or dwindles.  With a distribution source as found in network marketing, a company can stay in business because they do not have to advertise.

I have tried many sales opportunities, including cosmetics, jewelry, home decorating accessories, as well as sold large ticket items on the road (average sales of over $13,000), so I know what's out there.  Being ambitious, has its pros and cons.  When people are ambitious and not afraid of failure, they will keep trying until they find the right vehicle for success.  The secret is once you've found the right vehicle and you have learned from your previous mistakes or learned from mistakes made by others -- keep on keeping on.  Do not give up.  You see others in line who have received significant income, do not---let me repeat:  do not get out of line; your time is coming up. You must attach yourself to a mentor who can teach you what to do to be successful.  Let the Holy Spirit of God be your guide, and you will not fail.

Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  Psalms 37:4 (KJV)

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)

I have been told by well-intentioned people to not tell about my company in my blog. How could I do that?  I'm not ashamed of my company. I've been around the block in network marketing, and I decided if I found the right company, I would broadcast it, and that's what I'm doing.  We have the most dynamic product with the most amazing compensation plan I have ever been affiliated with.  The entry level is affordable for the masses (under $50), so why would I even think about keeping it "secret?"

For all the moms who are earnestly seeking work for stay at home moms, GBG is the perfect network marketing opportunity on the planet.  Analyze your situation and ask yourself if this might be something you can implement into your family.  If this does not meet your requirements and you have an outside job you love, then GBG could be a secondary income for your family, especially when both parents are involved.

Do you want to have the things for your family that they need and desire? There may even be things for yourself that you want, but you feel you have to sacrifice your own desires for the good of your family. Let me tell you, with the right training with GBG, you may find that sacrifice is not a necessity.  Your success will be determined by your attitude, work ethic and perseverance.  With a 14-year track record as a company, internet presence and the fact that we are going global in just a few months, the timing is excellent. Jump on in.  Do not be afraid.  There is no risk, and you even have a 60-day (100% money back guarantee on the product).

Thanks again for taking the time to visit my blog.  I want to encourage you to examine the cost of staying at home.
